The List coming to DVD June 10th

Synopsis:

Renny Jacobson is shaken by news of his father’s mysterious death. Although they were never close, he is stunned to discover that his father has left his substantial estate to charity, leaving his son with nothing but a reference to an obscure entity called “The Covenant List of South Carolina, Ltd.” Setting out on a quest to learn the truth about “The List,” he meets another descendent of a family bound to the secret society and soon discovers that they are both inheritors of an ancient and sinister secret – as well as a vast fortune. Having signed the covenant with his own blood, he is unprepared to fight the evil forces that now seek to devour everything – and anyone – he holds dear.

The List movie news

The List movie based on the novel by Robert Whitlow has an official release date. According to a post on the film's official MySpace page, The List will open August 10, 2007 exclusively at the Ballantyne Village Theater in Charlotte, NC.

Premise:

The List by Robert Whitlow to be major movie

Robert Whitlow's novel The List is soon to be a major motion picture starring Malcolm McDowell, Chuck Carrington, Hilarie Blurton and Will Patton. Currently in post production, according to the official movie website, Robert Whitlow co-wrote the screenplay.

Robert Whitlow is the best-selling author of legal thrillers set in the South and winner of the prestigious Christy Award for Contemporary Fiction. A Furman University graduate, Whitlow received his J.D. with honors from the University of Georgia School of Law where he served on the staff of the Georgia Law Review. A practicing attorney, Whitlow and his wife, Kathy, have four children. They make their home in North Carolina.
