Expiration Date movie update
Texas-based company, Fireside Entertainment, is currently developing a script and choosing locations for a film of Expiration Date, based on the novel by Eric Wilson. This is according to Eric's website.
This one would make an interesting movie as it's about a guy who can tell when someone is about to die by a touch of the hand.

Blood of Heaven by Bill Myers to be a movie?
There have been some rumblings about the possibility of Bill Myers' Blood of Heaven being made into a movie. In fact, Bill confirms the possibility (note: it's not definite) over at his blog. He says:
"Got wonderfully sidetracked from writing the novel the last couple weeks with a producer who asked me to turn my book, Blood of Heaven, into a screenplay."
He also describes the plot for those who haven't read it yet:
"The story is a powerful one where they find a couple drops of Christ's blood, genetically introduce it into a human to see what will happen. The fact that the human is a multiple murderer makes it a little more interesting."
Bill's last novel to be turned into a movie was The Wager, starring Randy Travis.
